Many thanks as always for your support.
This annual fundraiser was, once again, a great success with a total of €3,010 raised by the sale of beautiful Christmas cards designed by the children. The school receives 50% of the total raised. Thanks to everyone who purchased cards this year.
The children have all made fantastic Christmas cards which they brought home last week. The last day to purchase your cards is Tuesday 24th November.
Each year the school gets approximately 50% of the sale of the cards so it is a great fundraiser. Return your completed form along with the payment in an envelope to your child's teacher.
Thank you to everyone who took part in this year's raffle. You helped us raise a staggering €5,435. And a very special thanks to all the businesses who donated prizes and sponsorship.
The winners of this year's raffle are:
We are delighted to launch our Greystones CNS raffle: https://go.rallyup.com/supportgcns
Many local businesses kindly offered prizes. Please express your thanks to them when you can. You now have a chance to win these prizes! It is great to have a little excitement to look forward to as winter draws in. It might even take care of some of your Christmas shopping. Most importantly, the money raised from the raffle goes to support the school, providing equipment and activities that all the children benefit from.
We know that this is a very difficult time for many but, if you can, please buy some tickets. It is online so no paper or cash required. Just click the link. You are also welcome to share the link with family and friends. All are welcome to join in.
Thank you so much for your support!

How to book your table
There are two ways to book your table:
An important fundraiser
Last years’ event was (once again!) a great success and we managed to raise €5,795 for our school. That’s our target to beat this year!
With our upcoming move to the new school, we need to raise as much as possible this year and this is where we need your help by booking a table and buying some raffle tickets for our fantastic prizes.
Amazing prizes to be won on the night
We are very fortunate to have the support of a lot of fantastic local businesses and the prize list is already looking amazing. There will be a raffle - tickets available in the coming weeks - and a silent auction.
Here’s a sample of what you can win this year:
If you know anyone who would be interested in sponsoring a prize or if you would like to promote your own business by donating a prize, please contact Marta O’Brien at firstname.lastname@example.org or 086 0275713.
Tables are available on a first come first serve basis and only when payment has been made. So get booking!
We are looking forward to seeing you on the night.
The Table Quiz Team
The Greystones CNS Annual Table Quiz will once again be held in the Whale Theatre on Friday 27th March.
Many local businesses have been contacted requesting their support in the form of sponsorship and/or prizes. Thanks to their generosity in the past we have had an amazing array of prizes on the night and anticipate the same support this year.
With the move to our new school happening in 2020 it is more important than ever that we raise as much money as possible. We would ask parents, where appropriate, to approach their employers for:
Further details will follow with regard to booking a table for the night. We're really looking forward to another fantastic night celebrating and supporting our amazing school.
What's in an old bag of clothes? Lots! Over the past two years we've raised almost €1,500 by participating in the bag2school initiative.
We do two collections a year, one in October and one in May and we earn roughly .40c per kilogram. A portion of what we collect also goes directly to the Laura Lynn Foundation.
So when you're doing your Spring clear out, put the clothes aside for our May collection and see can we keep this as a great fundraiser for the school!
