What we do

The Arts Committee supports the school by providing access to a wide variety of different artform activities for all pupils such as:
​

• World Book Day and Poetry Day: professional authors and parents come in to read to all classes
• Fighting Words: each year 2nd Class collaboratively writes a story at the Fighting Words base in Glencree, Co Wicklow
• St. Patrick’s Parade: We've been awarded Overall Winner two years in a row due to parents, teachers and pupils working together as a team to produce outstanding costumes and floats
• Creative Schools Week: a full week of arts activities culminating in a fun end-of-week display of all the work created that all families are invited to view
• Christmas Carolling is an annual opportunity for us to raise our voices and spread a little Christmas cheer in our community while also raising funds for our new school building​
